Important Make-Up Charter Info – Please Read Carefully
To register, you must come to the booking desk in person or fill out the form below. This cannot be done by phone, email, or mail. These requests are not guaranteed trips. Three things can factor into a trip not sailing: lack of fellow participants, lack of boat availability and/or inclement weather conditions.
If you want to participate in a make-up charter, please complete the form below. Once you have submitted this form, a reservationist will contact you when we have enough participants and a boat secured for a make-up charter. We will collect payment information when we call you and let you know you are on a boat for the next day.
By submitting this request, you agree to abide by Oregon Inlet Fishing Center’s TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Please read them carefully before submitting this request.
Complete the information on this form and we will include your name on our make-up list. When we get enough people together, we put a charter trip together. A make-up charter cannot be applied for more than fourteen (14) days in advance of a trip.
The U.S. Coast Guard limits the number of people on any charter boat to six (6).
When you sign up you are agreeing to pay the amount it will cost you to go in a six-person charter (slightly less for Near-Shore charters). If we cannot find a full party of six, we will put parties of four or five together if all parties are willing to split the cost of the charter equally.
After we create a make-up charter, your money will ONLY be refunded if the Captain or OIFC booking desk cancels the make-up charter. A few reasons that could happen are if other riders cancel, the captain calls a bad weather day or the boat has mechanical issues.
All boats are selected on a rotational basis. You do NOT have a choice of which boat to fish on.
We will only put together a make-up charter within 24 hours of the trip’s sailing time.
