After 3 days stuck at the dock, our offshore boats made it out yesterday and were rewarded with great fishing! We had multiple blue and white marlin releases, along with a handful of sailfish! Boxes were full of mahi and some tuna, had a 47-pound dolphin brought in as well!
The nearshore fleet has been seeing a good mix both ocean and sound side with reports of speckled trout, red drum, spanish mackerel, amberjack, triggerfish, false albacore and bluefish (9 pounder brought in last week!).
Inshore boats have had a strong start to September with bigger specks and grey trout, and great drum fishing! Hoping to see the great fishing continue as the weather cools off.
