WHO NEEDS MEXICO?

Sep 20, 2013

Our Marlin fishing is insane. Period. This was a stellar day for the boats that went billfishing. Top boat landed 29 White Marlin, WOW! 2nd top boat had 25! WOW! 2 boats also came in with 18 flags flying and another with 15. (We can't wait to see what happens today!!!)

Our Tuna fishing was on point yesterday with some nice Yellowfin's, Blackfin's and we even got to see a 203 Bigeye Tuna hoisted from the fish box. David Erhardt from Pittsburg, PA was completely blown away that he caught such a fish. They had some Yellowfin Tuna also and he told us that before the Bigeye was hooked, the biggest fish he had ever caught was one of the Yellowfin's. Little did he know he would be hooked up to a mini submarine moments later! Great Job Dave and Crew! We will have to wait and see what today brings us. Captain Billy Maxwell says the Bigeye's love a Full Moon and last night we surely had a gorgeous Harvest Moon shining down on us. Good Luck to the lucky people fishing today!!! We had 3 Wahoo, a Sailfish and roughly 40 dolphin caught also.

Nearshore had some more Excellent Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel fishing and one of our All Day trips landed some really nice Amberjacks. We have a couple boats open this morning if you can make the call early enough to get a ride out and enjoy the morning on the water. The Headboat went out and caught lots of Flounder, Sea Mullet and Bluefish. They are still running trips once a day all the way through Oct. 31st from 8:30am to 12:30pm so don't miss out!!! Our other Inshore boats had some great luck with the Trout fishing, both Speckles and Gray. Now's the time to target Trout if that's what you've been waiting for. The month of September is their best season and they too love the full moon! We have AM and PM or ALL day trips still available if you wake up this morning in a panic after you realize you aren't fishing!
