TUESDAY'S REPORT

Aug 14, 2013

Don't worry we are still here and we still have you covered! Tuesday marked the first day to sink your baits in the Pirates Cove Big Game Tournament! Which we happen to have 11 boats fishing this year! The fish report wasn't easy to get since some of our boats aren't here, but for the end results of the day we had an excellent return! The first boat to come home went straight to the weigh scales at Pirates Cove with a 400.1 Lb Blue Marlin!!!In order to count the fish must weigh at least 400 Lbs! You can only imagine the excitement that went on when everyone saw Captain Charles Haywood's reaction! We also had Trophy Hunter release 4 White Marlin and a Blue Marlin, Legacy release 3 White Marlin and a Blue Marlin, Skirt Chaser release 3 White Marlin, Qualifier and Bi-Op-Sea both released 2 White Marlin, and Pelican released 1 White marlin. Our other boats that fished offshore came in with a lot of Yellowfin tunas, which is awesome to see! We had Blackfin's mixed in with them too. More Wahoo's, 2 40 pounders and one 38 Lb. Still had some gaffers and bailer dolphins too. Fishing has been good inshore with the Speckled Trout. Yesterday it was more Bluefish, Triggerfish, and Sharks for our Nearshore crowd. We have plenty of trips available this week if you are ready to get out on the water! Its a fun week to be fishing! Make- Up trips are 292$ per person if you need to make some friends, but if you have way too many then divide them into teams of 6 and book as many boats as you can!!! 252.441.6301
