SUN-DOGGONE

Aug 23, 2013

This Morning was filled with some thick first class fish. We had Bluefish that were some of the best ones we have had this summer and a few Spanish Mackerels thrown in that were just as meaty. Inshore had great Speckled Trout again and even a couple Cobia's! The weather was exceptionally hot this morning so we all knew it was coming, The rain is definitely here. Thunder is booming all around and the sky is a few shades of gray! Its a wet one out there so don't leave your rain gear at home! We are supposed to be having a cold front come through this weekend sometime but with every cold front it is undetermined what the temps will drop to. We were in the upper 80s this morning so hopefully it wont be too dramatic of a change. We still have a teenie little bit of summer left before MONDAY! Dare County Schools go back to school on Monday along with many more on the East Coast. The fishing is here so keep it in the back of your mind that you should take a weekend trip to get in on this action! We are just getting fired up! The VBBT Virginia Beach Billfish Tournament has 8 of our boats fishing and today is their last day. We have heard that there were a ridiculous amount of fish caught within the first HOUR of the tourney today. That's GREAT!!! There have been updates all day but we are waiting for the official results that will come in after all the boats have gotten back in. We have a lot of local boats including our own that are placing right now so we are hyped up and rooting for them! You could get a chance in a lifetime right now to see more billfish than ever so book as soon as you and your buddies get a date together! Inshore and Nearshore are going to be going all through the weekend too, If I could get out there I would be......................................long gone! Get on the phone as soon as you can and talk to us about fishing! 252.441.6301 or toll free 1.800.272.5199

If you want to see any of your pictures that have been taken down here make sure you get on our "Facebook Like page" PLEASE Tag yourselves, save your pictures, and SHARE Them with your family and friends! That's what they are there for! YOU!!!! Stay dry my friends!
