SPECIAL TOURNAMENT REPORT
We say it all the time.......O.I.F.C. Captains are the best and know how to GET. IT. DONE!!
New Captain and boat owner Chris Kubik quickly made his way to the top of the leaderboard on Day 1 and remained there through the final weigh-in on Day 4. His team secured the top boat of the week, first place overall, first place tuna (69.8 pounds), first place in the Day One daily and jackpot and second place in the Day Two daily.
Veteran Captain Arch Bracher soared to secure the 2nd spot on the leaderboard. The team won second place boat and overall points, plus first place in Day Two daily standings and jackpot for 17 white marlin releases.
New Captain Chris Gornell sailed into the 3rd place spot early on and his team secured the finish with 15 billfish releases.
Veteran Captain Charles Haywood rounded out the top 5 group with a solid 5th place finish for 13 billfish releases.
We also want to recognize Brown Gaddy, son of Captain Fin Gaddy of the Qualifier, for earning Top Jr. Angler with 250 points for his billfish releases! Awesome work!
