Saturday Surprise!

Oct 13, 2018

Anglers were welcomed to a chilly start this morning, but had a fairly calm ocean after the storm.  Anglers off-shore enjoyed some busy reel action, pulling in black-fin tuna, yellow-fin tuna, and limits of mahi. Congrats to Jackson Creschzo and Willie Dillard on earning trophy citations for their 20 lb black-fin tuna.  There is good availability for immediate booking. We are working on assembling Make-Up charters this week and already have a few individuals signed up. Submit your request here in person at the booking desk or on our homepage.

Anglers Near-Shore and In-Shore enjoyed some great spanish mackerel catches yesterday, inching ever so closely to breaking the state record. Congrats to Owen Adelman on pulling in a 9 lb beast, a mere 4 lbs .01 oz shy of taking the title set back in 1987. He did earn the title of the heaviest spanish mac brought in to the fishing center this season. Congrats to Richard Quitiquit on his 8 lb beauty, earning him a trophy citation, as well.

Miss Oregon Inlet did not fish today, but tickets are available on all trips next week. Advanced purchase is recommended and tickets may be purchased in person at the booking desk, online at www.missoregoninlet.com, or by phone 1-800-272-5199.

Fall fishing on the Outer Banks is always an adventure! Come on down and find your thrill!
