Saturday Spread

May 26, 2018

Oregon Inlet was definitely the gateway to some great fishing spots for alot of boaters and anglers on Saturday. The catch was another mixed bag with anglers bringing in yellow-fin, black-fin, and tilefish.  Congrats to our handful of anglers managing to pull in some trophy citation yellow-fin, Sean Bradshaw - 86 lbs, Jeff McDonald - 80 lbs, Steven McPherson - 107 lbs, Joseph QuQoe - 84 lbs, Paul Schraner - 73 lbs, and John Thompson - 71 lbs.  Nice work!!

Near-Shore and In-Shore anglers enjoyed some good cobia action today, pulling in a few keepers and releasing several. There were a few red drum releases reported, as well. Anglers also enjoyed catches of bluefish and mullet.

Anglers aboard private vessels also weighed in trophy citation cobia here at the fishing center, with weighs ranging from 45 - 50 lbs.

Anglers aboard the Miss Oregon Inlet today enjoyed good fishing with good variety, pulling in flounder, mullet, croaker, spot, pigfish, and pinfish.  Miss Oregon Inlet will be offering $3 discount on every ticket for the Memorial Day Monday trip - no coupons needed or take advantage of the best discount on the beach of $5 off for group purchase of 10 or more tickets. Offers cannot be combined. Log onto their website www.missoregoninlet.com or call 1-800-272-5199 to purchase by phone with any major credit/debit card. Advance ticket purchase is recommended.

Make-Up charters are available this week and requests to be included may be submitted online on our homepage or here in person at the Booking Desk.
