ONE FISH TUNA FISH
Have you ever stood outside and felt the weather go completely crazy? That is what it was like today. It started out overcast, then changed to sunny, then the wind just decided to take off and start howling. Our Inshore crowd got to enjoy a calmer morning until it got a little closer to lunchtime and they had the wind pushing them home. A few of them picked up some beautiful Speckled Trout and even some puppy drum. There were a bunch of AM and PM trips that got their Spanish Mackerels and Bluefish catches in the bag too. The Nearshore guys brought home some pretty King Mackerels, and some Triggerfish. Our Headboat, The Miss Oregon Inlet, hung out on the bridge and scored their people some croaker dinners. Around lunchtime after all the Inshore boats had come in and gone back out on their second trips there were a handful of boats that came in early from offshore. The ones who came in early by choice reported the fish were still biting when they left and that it was pretty good tuna and gaffer fishing today. It was either a pile of dolphin or tuna or a mix of both on the dock behind each boat. We had a couple white marlin releases but no other citations turned in which is unusual. There was plenty of meat and the conditions for the day started out smooth and seemed to only get rougher. We hope that tomorrow is going to be a good day but we will soon find out who's fishing and who's going out to breakfast! The wind has already fell out a little but the morning will clarify it all. Call us to get in on a trip next week before your day is no longer available. We have lots of people lining their dates up! Dial 1.800.272.5199 and get excited to come fishing with us!!!
