Today we had a mixed bag of fishing following the stormy weather from yesterday and last night. All of our boats went out this morning. Despite reports of slow fishing our offshore anglers speckled the docks with Tilefish, Black Drum, Sea Bass, Mahi, Gaffers, Yellowfin Tuna, and Blackfin Tuna. Two citations were issued today. One for a 30 pound Mahi and the other for a Sailfish which was released!! A 132 pound Bigeye Tuna was also hauled in today! That was a nice catch!
Our nearshore anglers took home Blues, Albacore, King Mackrel and Spanish Mackrel. Inshore vessels and Miss Oregon Inlet brought in catches of speckled trout, pig fish, pin fish, black sea bass and lots of keeper sized flounder!!
