HOLY MACKEREL!!!!!!!!

Jul 18, 2013

Yes, its true. Fishing was great this morning! Our awesome cockpit coordinators got on 'em today folks! Trolling, casting, fly fishing, and bottom fishing, we had some good fish come in! There were a couple red drum caught out there, the guys told me 6 rods went down and they snagged 4 big ones. Weight is guessed by measurement so these were in the 45LB range. We had some Triggerfish and a couple Cobia's were caught too. The word on Cobia fishing seems to be that there are more males out there right now. Males usually tend to be smaller than females but they have been catching and releasing those that aren't big enough. The two that we had today were about 15- 20lb fish. And oh man, the Mackerel were just as pretty as you wanted them today. Get a pile of those pretty fish and you're set! IF you want to get out there call us, we are booking trips pretty steady now.. 252.441.6301. Keep your phones by you for our update tweets. Its a GORGEOUS day, don't forget to drink water! We sell that down here if you need an excuse to come see us :) Headboat is completely booked for the AM trip tomorrow, but you still have time to go in the afternoon if you call now. Make-ups are being put together too call as early as you can so we can get you out there! The earlier the better!
