HERE FISHY FISHY

Aug 1, 2013

Sooo, today was a little slower. But remember our slow days are still pretty great days. We had some Mackerel's Nearshore this morning but not as many as we have been having. It could be the rain chased them away but we won't know until tomorrow. There were still enough caught for dinner. We still had 3 Red Drum release citations turned in though! Also a very pretty catch of Triggerfish. Offshore we had our first boat come in with a 133Lb Bigeye Tuna but that was the only one caught this time. The rest of the fleet out of 12 boats that went, had a couple nice meaty 50- 60Lb Yellowfins. The Blackfin Tuna's made their debut on this lovely first day of August. The big Gaffer Dolphin's and Wahoo's were mixed in there along with a very close but not exactly limit of dolphin. A limit of Tilefish came in too. Tomorrow morning we have no AM Inshore or Nearshore trips available but when I just looked there were a couple afternoon trips still open. If you want to get Offshore before the week is over, we have a couple spots available and a nice list of people waiting for their Make-Up trips to come together. Make-Ups are for people who want to pay per person or do not have 6 friends who like to fish. So come on and book a Make-Up and make some friends so you can have someone to go fishing with next time! We are all looking forward to tomorrow and ready to get back on our game. Call us anytime before 7PM or just book your perfect trip right here online. 252.441.6301
