HAPPY 4TH!!!

Jul 4, 2013

We hope you guys have had a great 4th of July with your families and friends today! Thank You to our Veterans for protecting our freedom and serving our great nation!

Fishing today was great Inshore but a little slow for the Offshore fleet. It goes to show you just never can predict what will happen. The last two days we were hit with the Bigeye Tuna's and then today we had more yellowfin's and dolphin but not a single Bigeye. The Blue Marlins were out there though and we had 4 flags flying on the riggers this evening. Many people don't know it but if you see a flag flying you always look at the color and shape of the fish on the flag to determine what it is. If it is upside down that means the fish has been released. Right side up means the fish is being brought in. You will usually see them turned upside down. Our dolphin fishing was about the same as the tuna fishing it was just hit or miss. Some of our Inshore/Nearshore boats got on the gaffers today too! The afternoon report for the inshore was another great one like this morning's that was posted in the mini report. One of our boats got on the Cobia's and Triggerfish and we had some more Speckled Trout and Puppy Drum on the PM trips too. The Miss Oregon Inlet caught some puppy drum this morning and some croakers this afternoon. Next week we have a couple days available Offshore if you want to go enjoy a day in the gulfstream. Give us a call! Every day is different and you just never know what is going to come in next! We are steadily booking Inshore trips for the AM and PM so don't delay. Call the Fishing Center at 252.441.6301 or book us online! Everyone be safe and have a Happy 4th of July!!!
