GRAND SLAM! SPECKLES! BLUEFISH! 111 WHITE RELEASES
Today was another great turn with the Whites. The bait balls are all over the place out there, and they must be with outstanding numbers like this.
Out of 21 boats Offshore we had 111 White Marlin, 11 Sailfish, 3 Blue Marlin releases ranging from 800-300. The 800# fish got lost but still gave our people a heck of a fight, and would have been the 4th Blue Marlin caught. We also had a killer Grand Slam caught on a Make-Up trip!!! 6 White Marlin, a Blue and a Sail! Pretty work!!! 2 of our boats returned early from their Overnight trips. Yes you read right, they go out fishing same as usual but just pack a little more to spend the night out there and keep fishing! The Hooker came in first with 16 White Marlin and 2 Sails, and then the True Grit was right behind him with 17 White Marlin and 3 Stud Yellowfin Tunas. The Yellowfin have been some big buffs. We weighed a few that were 73, 63, and a 55 lbs. QUALITY fish. Perfect!
Our Inshore guys are kickin' butt with the Speckled Trout and Puppy Drum. So much fun! We had a nice catch of 21 Speckles and a couple Bluefish. Also we had some Dolphin, Cobia's, and a couple Amberjack. Our Nearshore have been doing excellent with some more gorgeous Bluefish and Spanish, those thick solid ones. Bluefish are some of our favorite fish believe it or not. They're some feisty little guys too.
This is the time you want to get out there and give it a go. We have a few boats open this week, things are starting to fill up literally every day. Our Make-Up trips are perfect for those who want to go but cant get enough people together. We offer Make-Ups for Offshore which are ALL DAY only, at 292$ per person. Also Nearshore Half Day trips go for 90$ per person and ALL Day for 165$ per person. The Nearshore Make-Ups are a little harder to put together so you need to make sure you sign up at the beginning of the week or whenever you first get here.
