Friday the 13th Lucky Day!

Jul 14, 2018

Chris is finally gone and action is good!! Anglers off-shore are catching limits and limits of mahi, with several gaffers.  A few tuna are scattered about the docks today and some flags are flying.

Congrats to:  James Gardner - Mahi, 36lbs and Jess Whelan - Wahoo 42.06 lbs. Nice work!! Congrats to our anglers releasing billfish today!

Sailfish: Logan Hager - 84" & Randy Keese - 84"

Blue Marlin: Eric Clark, Trevor Jones & Terry McCleod.

White Marlin: Zachary Banks, William Keesee Jr, & Forrest Knisely.

Anglers Near-Shore enjoyed good action as well, pulling in ribbonfish and good numbers of bluefish. There were also some king macs, and a few spanish as well.

Anglers In-Shore enjoyed nice speckled trout with some good weights coming in off of several boats. There were also some keeper flounder and some red drum hook ups.

Anglers aboard the Miss Oregon Inlet had some busy reels on both trips today, pulling in flounder, trout, sea bass, sea mullet, croaker, spot, pigs, and pins.  Tickets are available for all morning trips and afternoon trips in the coming days. Advanced purchase is strongly recommended either online at www.missoregoninlet.com or by phone 1-800-272-5199.

Tickets are available for trips out on the Safari Dolphin Tours in the coming days. Watchers have enjoyed some good activity this week and are seeing a couple of different pods around the sound. Come and get your view on!! Give us a call 1-800-272-5199 to book your trip!
