FISHING WAS BANGIN!

Sep 3, 2013

Bangin', like lightning. Duh. :)

We had 4 out of 10 boats roll in today with boxes full of Blackfins! Everyone got more than enough to take home for dinner there's no doubt! And they got in early which was great since we had some CRAZY thunder and lightning storms come through. The storms were supposedly Offshore where the boats were with the Tuna's. Our Marlin fishing boats were in a different area than the Tuna boats, different as in 40 miles!!! So you can see why they didn't just pick up and troll the rest of the afternoon. Our high boat came home with 13 White Marlin, but we had 6 boats Billfishing. The count went from 13 to 8,8,8,7, and 6. That's 50 fish! The Blackfin's were schooling hard out there so our guys had no problem getting their fish in the boat, we even had one citation Blackfin that was right at the 20 lb citation mark! We had a little over a dozen Yellowfin Tunas AND Dolphin, also one Wahoo.

There were a ton of boats that got booked today so the trips are steady filling in. Our Nearshore and Inshore are too, today they had piles of Bluefish, Triggerfish, and a pair of Cobia's! The Speckled Trout and Puppy Drum are still here too, and we saw a limit of those. September is looking great folks, now's the time to get your plans together. Book your trip in advance and get jacked up to go get on these fish! You've got 2 Months to plan something and then we have to wait for the Bluefin's and Rockfish. A fishing trip is a GREAT Birthday present, JUST.SAYING! ;) ;) Fishing trips are pretty much the best gift you could ever give anyone, Birthdays, Christmas, or just because ya kinda deserve it!!!

Lets goooooooooooo!!!!!!
