FISHING REPORT AUGUST 6, 2014

Today the boats that when offshore had good billfishing and also caught yellowfin tuna, blackfin tuna, wahoo, gaffer dolphin, bailer dolphin, and tilefish. One make-up party caught 5 white marlin and some dolphin. There was 14 white marlin, 1 blue marlin and 1 sailfish caught today.

The nearshore boat caught bluefish, Spanish mackerel, and some bottom fish today.

The inshore light tackle boats caught red drum and cobia today.

The Headboat Miss Oregon Inlet sails two trips daily. The first trip leaves at 7:00 a.m and the second trip leaves at noon.

Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is open Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. & Friday-Sunday 4:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m. weather permitting. Fuel Dock does not open until 8:00 a.m.
