FISHING REPORT 8-9-12

Aug 10, 2012

What a beautiful day. Outstanding fishing for the charters. Offshore charters came back with limits of dolphin, some yellowfin and blackfin tuna, as well as lots of billfish release flags flying. Sailfish were plentiful, there were releases of 1 to 15 sailfish aboard most of the boats. Also some blue marlin and white marlin releases. Nearshore charters had a good day with bluefish and spanish mackerel catches. Nearshore all day charters caught amberjacks, trigger fish and false albacore. Inshore light tackle charters had a great day with catches of speckled trout, grey trout and some sheepshead. Miss Oregon Inlet had a buffet catch of seabass, croakers, pigfish and flounder. We can do makeup charters for nearshore or offshore, which is where we make up a charter of 6 from a list of people signed up. This can be done in person or online.
