FISHING REPORT 7-27-14
A nice day of fishing today. Despite the small storm we had our off shore boats bringing to the docks nice limits of yellowfin tuna ranging from 60 to 80 lbs. We had some dolphin and blue marlin and white marlin releases. Also we would like to mention that on Wednesday of this week we had 3 boats that had a double header. I didn't know what that meant and when I researched it I was told that 3 blue marlins hit three different leaders on one boat and they each caught one and released. This is very rare and to have 3 boats to have a triple header in one day2.
On our near shore front the boats brought to the docks nice blue fish and amberjack. Our in shore boats had nice puppy drum, speckle trout and 1 cobia.
Our head boat will hopefully run on Wednesday and they are catching nice flounder, grey trout, spots and crockers.
