FISHING REPORT 10-16-16

Oct 16, 2016

Matthew has come and gone and the fishing is just as spectacular as it was before the storm. The Offshore charters are bringing in an abundant number of Yellow Fin Tuna to the docks, most of them hitting their limit or very close to it. They are also still catching a good number of Mahi Mahi. We had Wahoo brought in this afternoon also. The Near Shore and In Shore charter boats also saw a terrific day of fishing. They are catching some nice Puppy Drum and some Release Red Drum. They also reeled in some beautiful Specked Trout and several Keeper Flounder. Stripers were also caught today, but were released. The Miss Oregon Inlet will be making a trip tomorrow morning. The headboat will leave the docks at 8:00 am sharp. You can book your trip on the headboat at missoregoninlet.com. Don't miss out on making some fantastic memories here at Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. You can book any of our charters by calling the booking desk at 1-800-272-5199. You can also book online at oregon-inlet.com. Our Store is full of famous Oregon Inlet T- shirts, souvenirs and all of the fishing rear imaginable. Take a drive down Route 12 South and visit us at the Marina. You can see the catch of the day brought into the docks around 3:30 - 4:00 pm each day. Happy Fishing!
