FISHING REPORT 10-06-14

OFFSHORE GULFSTREAM FISHING One boat had a limit of dolphin, a citation wahoo weighting 49 lbs. caught by T. J. Undercoffler of Bechtelsville, Pa. and released a white marlin. Two boats went bottom fishing and caught grouper, tile, blackfin tuna, yellowfin tuna, and dolphin. Two citation groupers were weighted in at 23 and 26 lbs. caught by Lyn Harris of Southhill, Va. The other boats caught scattered blackfin tuna, yellowfin tuna, and dolphin. Charles Birdsong of Kill Devil Hills, N.C. caught a 24lb citation blackfin tuna.

NEARSHORE FISHING The boats fishing nearshore had good blue fishing.

INSHORE FISHING The boats fishing inshore caught gray trout, puppy drum, flounder, and blues.

HEADBOAT "The Miss Oregon Inlet" had good spot, good blue fish, gray trout,and croakers.

Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is open Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. & Friday-Sunday 4:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m. weather permitting. Fuel Dock does not open until 8:00 a.m.
