FISHING REPORT 10-03-16
We had another beautiful day weather-wise and another terrific day of fishing from Oregon Inlet. We had quite a few Offshore charters that fished and they are still loading the docks with limits of Yellow Fin Tuna. They are also bringing in Black Fin Tuna and a few Mahi Mahi. Some billfish are still being landed but they seem to be fading out for the season. The Near Shore boats had a fantastic day. They reeled in a good number of Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Trout and Croakers. The In Shore charters also had great luck today. They caught Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Trout, Puppy Drum and several delicious keeper Founder. Congratulations to Roger Weekly on his great catches of Red Drum release, White Marlin and Spearfish releases. The Striper season has just opened up so we hope to soon be seeing some nice Stripers brought to the docks. The Miss Oregon Inlet will definitely be making a trip tomorrow. The headboat leaves the docks at 8:00 am. You can secure your spot on the boat at missoregoninlet.com. You can book any of our charters on-line at Oregon-inlet.com or give us a call at the booking desk at 1-800-272-5199. Happy Fishing!
