FISHING REPORT 10-02-16

Oct 2, 2016

Another incredible day of fishing out of Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. Most of the Offshore charters brought in limits of nice-sized Yellow Fin Tuna. They were also catching Black Fin Tuna and we saw several boats with a good number of Dolphin. The Near Shore and In Shore boats had a slow day today. They are catching Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish Near Shore and the In Shore boats are catching Flounder and Speckled Trout in the Sound. Striper Season started yesterday so we should start seeing some Stripers brought into the docks soon. The Miss Oregon Inlet will leave the docks for an exciting day of fishing tomorrow morning at 8:00 sharp. You can book a trip on the Miss Oregon Inlet at missoregoninlet.com or give us a call here at the booking 1-800-272-5199. While here on the Outer Banks you shouldn't miss coming down to the fishing center to see the afternoon catch brought into the docks. Plan on getting here around 3:30 to see the catch of the day! Happy Fishing!
