FISHING REPORT 09-18-16

Sep 18, 2016

The Offshore charters had a little bit of a bumpy ride today. The fishing, however, was excellent again. The docks were full of nice fat Yellow Fin Tuna; some of the boats bringing in their limits. The anglers also were blessed with some nice Dolphin; many boats bringing in their limits and Black Fin Tuna. Doug Fitzgerald caught a beautiful Citation Dolphin; it weighed in at 41 pounds! Quite a few billfish were caught and released. Gregg Thompson, Dean Waters and James Johnson reeled in Blue Marlin. The White Marlin that were caught and released were reeled in by Gregg Thompson, Russell Holcomb, Doug Fitzgerald, Andrew Moeslein, Jay Epstein, Gary Wojciechowski, Casey Wojciechowski, Kyle Tolla, Nathan Woods, Westley Decker and Matthew Weyer. We also had Sailfish flags flying this afternoon. Jane Schlosser and Gary Sajko caught and released Sailfish. We had a catch of a Swordfish also; it was caught by Westley Decker! We had a few Near Shore charters that fished today. They are catching a good number of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish. They are also bringing in Albacore. The In Shore boats had a good day. They caught limits of Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish. The Miss Oregon Inlet will be sailing tomorrow. It leaves the docks at 8:00 am. You can book online at missoregoninlet.com. You can book any of our charters by calling the booking desk at 1-800-272-5199. You can also book online at oregon-inlet.com.
