FISHING REPORT 09-18-15

Sep 18, 2015

Good afternoon from Oregon Inlet Fishing Center where the fishing is fantastic! The Off Shore Charter boats caught a good amount of Yellow Fin Tuna today, along with Dolphin, Black Fin Tuna and Wahoo. We had 4 generations of gentlemen chartering The Outer Limits today and 3 of those caught and released White Marlin. They were Gerald Mayes Sr, Gerald Mayes Jr and Ryan Mayes. Congratulations to those gentlemen! We also had a 133 lb Big Eye Tuna caught today by Mark Byers on the Fight-N-Lady. Tuna Fever also brought in what would have been about a 250 lb Big Eye (see pic). The Off Shore boats caught and released 54 White Marlin, 3 Blue Marlin and 5 Sailfish today. True Grit had a Grand Slam today with 1 Blue Marlin, 2 White Marlin and 1 Sailfish.

The Near Shore and In Shore charter boats are catching massive amounts of Spanish Mackerel. They also caught some good size Blues today, along with Albacore, Sea Bass, Trigger fish, Red Drum and Lizard Fish. Fishing was definitely good today for our Near Shore and In Shore charters!

The Miss Oregon Inlet had a good day of fishing. Their catch included flounder, gray trout, pig fish, pin fish, sea bass and puffer fish.

Give us a call to book the charter of your choice today. You can reach us at 1-800-272-5199 or you can go on-line at oregon-inlet.com. Fishing is great so don't miss out! Happy Fishing!
