FISHING REPORT 09-13-16

Sep 13, 2016

SUPER SEPTEMBER!!! The fishing is truly Outer Banks classic style! Anglers were hauling in limits of yellow fin tuna, good numbers of black fin tuna, some wahoo, and near limits of mahi mahi! Congrats to Michael Griffiths and Paul Cranmer for white marlin releases! Congrats to Mark Haines for his blue marlin release!! Nice work!!

But wait!! We have got to talk about the trophy citation yellows!! Congrats to Walter Graham for his 73 pound catch, David Baer for his 72 pound catch, and Linwood Hamilton for his 71 pound catch!! Congrats to Angie Rentz for her 55 pound trophy citation wahoo!! Oh, and did I mention these anglers were all on Make-Up Charters? Yes!! You can be on a Make-Up Charter, too!!

Near-Shore anglers were enjoying some good action today as well, with catches of bluefish, Spanish macs, albacore, and amberjack.

In-Shore anglers had some great sound and inlet fishing, pulling in speckled trout, grey trout, bluefish, and some red drum. There were also some flounder and a cobia, with some rock releases.

Miss Oregon Inlet headboat had an active morning with at least 14 different species crossing the rails. Anglers pulled in nice grey trout, black sea bass, pigs, pins, croaker, spot, sea mullet, puppydrum, oystertoad, bluefish, sea robin, flounder, sand perch, and pufferfish.

There is excellent availability on any of our boats. Give us a call and we'll get you booked 1-800-272-5199.
