FISHING REPORT 09-12-16

Sep 12, 2016

A little overcast weather makes for excellent fishing out of Oregon Inlet. The Offshore fleet had an excellent day. The docks were full of Yellow Fin Tuna. Most of our charters brought in either limits of Yellow Fin or close to their limits. They also caught quite a few Black Fin Tuna and Dolphin. John Morgen reeled in a nice Citation Dolphin at 35 pounds. The Wahoo fishing was terrific! We had several Citation Wahoo caught; one was brought in by Ronald Willett. Ronald reeled in a 43 pounder. Douglas Whaley caught a nice 53 pound Wahoo. Taylor Schmidt also had a nice Citation Wahoo, which weighed in at over 41 pounds. Congratulations guys! Lenny Mancuso and his fishing party caught and released quite a few White Marlin and Blue Marlin. Lenny caught both White and Blue Citation Marlin. Near Shore charter boats filled the fish boxes with Spanish Mackerel, Albacore and Bluefish. The In Shore anglers also had a great day of fishing. The Speckled Trout were gorgeous. They also caught Bluefish, Puppy Drum, Rockfish, Albacore, Amberjack and some keeper Flounder. Don't miss our on a fishing trip of a lifetime! Give us a call at the booking desk to book any of our charters. Our number is 1-800-272-5199. You can also book online at Oregon-inlet.com. Happy Fishing!
