FISHING REPORT 09-09-15

Sep 9, 2015

The weather is beautiful, the view is awesome, and the fishing is fantastic!! You need your fishing day! We are taking requests for Make-Up Charters for Off-Shore and Near-Shore trips.

OFFSHORE: The tuna are starting to wander back in! Anglers, including those from a Make-Up charter, brought in limits of dolphin as well as a limit of the prized yellow-fin on one boat and another prized catch of a 60 pound wahoo was brought in! There were 29 white marlin, 3 blue marlin, 3 sailfish released today.

NEARSHORE: Morning and afternoon anglers brought in some nice Spanish, blues, and albacore. Several All- day anglers brought in king mackerel, albacore, amberjack, triggerfish, and sea bass as well as 1 barracuda.

INSHORE: Morning and afternoon anglers were catching Spanish, blues, scattered ribbonfish, and drum. Big shout out to Wayne Ayels for his 71 pound cobia!!

HEADBOAT MISS OREGON INLET: Reservations are still strongly recommended as we continue to sail many days at full capacity, so log on and reserve your spot today! Miss Oregon Inlet sails Mon-Sat, departing at 8 a.m. and returning approximately 12:30 p.m. Morning anglers were catching flounder, bluefish, puffer, pigs, pins, sea bass, and released some small cobia.
