FISHING REPORT 09-08-16

Sep 8, 2016

Captains LOVE seeing the colors in the big blue and my goodness where there some great hues to view today!! Anglers off-shore pulled in very good numbers of yellow-fins, black-fins, and mahi mahi. There were also good numbers of wahoo and white marlin releases. Special shout out to Tonya Pyles for her 61 pound wahoo and to Daniel O'Conner for his 47 pound wahoo! Awesome! Super-size shout-out to Jason Maddon for his 183 pound big-eye tuna! Congrats to our anglers releasing sailfish today - Chris Jones, Rex Kelsey and Jennifer Cummings-Flave. Congrats to our anglers releasing whites today - James Bell, Josh Bogle, Michael Burnetta(2), Jennifer Cummings-Flave, AJ Decenzo, Dan Flave, Paul Hackett, David Johnston(3), Rex Kelsey, Andrew Tobey, and Greg Tobey!!

Near-Shore anglers are enjoying some beautiful water time as well, bringing in spanish macs, bluefish, and some sea mullet. Some folks are going to enjoy the fish fry this evening!

In-Shore anglers were busy pulling in some very nice speckled trout on both morning and afternoon trips. Another handsome batch for the grill!

1st Mate MacKenzie tells us anglers aboard the Miss Oregon Inlet caught sea robin, puffers, pigfish, pinfish, grey trout, croakers, spot, black sea bass, and sea mullet.

There is good availability across the fleet! Give us a call and let us get you booked 1-800- 272-5199!
