FISHING REPORT 09-05-15

Sep 5, 2015

It was a rough day for fishing today to say the least. Not because the fishing wasn't good but because of the gusty winds. Four of our Off Shore boats braved the winds and waves this morning bringing in some good catches. Fishing Frenzy caught 5 nice Yellow Fin Tuna and a limit of Dolphin. The Hooker brought in several Dolphin and released a pretty Blue Marlin. Both the Pelican and Rigged Up went out hunting the Marlin today; Pelican caught 6 White Marlin and Rigged up caught and released 1 Blue Marlin along with 4 White Marlin. We also had a Near Shore Charter that went out today. Capt'n Duke braved the weather and brought in 24 nice Spanish Mackerel and a good catch of Blues. The Miss Oregon Inlet caught some nice fish today. The catch included Gray Trout, Sea Mullet, Blue Fish, Pig fish, Pin Fish and some Sea Bass. Hopefully these winds will die down by Sunday or Monday because the Yellow Fin Tuna are showing back up! You can call us at the booking desk to book your charter at 1-800-272-5199 or you can book your charter on-line at oregon-inlet.com. Fall fishing is gearing up so don't miss out! Happy Fishing!
