FISHING REPORT 09-05-14

OFFSHORE GULSTREAM FISHING The boats brought in catches of dolphins, blackfin tuna, yellowfin tuna, and wahoo. Robert Kephart of Manteo, N.C. caught a 54# citation wahoo. One boat caught 6 sailfish and another boat had two blue marlin releases, also the boats that went white marlin fishing had 4 to 7 releases per boat.

NEARSHORE FISHING The boats has good blue fishing and some Spanish mackeral .

INSHORE FISHING The inshore boats that fished all day had triggerfish and amberjack.

HEADBOAT FISHING The "Miss Oregon Inlet" caught several keeper flounder and trout; also they caught sea mullet and pigfish. The "Miss Oregon Inlet" is sailing one trip daily from 8am to 12:30pm Monday - Saturday.
