FISHING REPORT 08-29-16

Aug 29, 2016

Today was the calm before the storm. The weather was simply beautiful! Our offshore charters had a great day of fishing. We saw several limits of Yellow Fin Tuna so we will have some happy anglers at the dinner table tonight! The boats also brought in a great number of Mahi Mahi and some Black Fin Tuna also. Our fishermen and women are bringing back their stories of fighting the Sailfish and Marlins also, which are all being released back into the deep blue sea. Congratulations to Kara Everett on her catch and release of a Sailfish. Congratulations also go out to Rachel Kuhn and Penny Prather for their Sailfish catch and releases!! Congratulations ladies! The Near Shore charter boat anglers caught a nice number of Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel and Albacore on the half day charters that were booked. Our charters that fished In Shore had another great day of catching beautiful Speckled Trout, some boats catching their limit. We also had a good number of King Mackerel and Albacore. Cobia was also brought to the docks today by our In Shore charter boats. The Miss Oregon Inlet plans on sailing 2 trips tomorrow, the first leaving the docks at 7:00 am and the afternoon trip leaving at noon. You can book any of our charters by giving us a call at 1-800-272-5199. You can also book online at Oregon-inlet.com. Happy Fishing!
