FISHING REPORT 08-26-17

Aug 30, 2017

Just ahead of the tropical disturbance, a few boats ventured out today to the Gulf Stream and had a little bit of luck! Anglers pulled in some black-fin tuna, a few yellow-fin tuna, and some mahi. There were also some billfish releases, with some youngsters gettin' it done tody! Congrats to Lindsey Braxton for a sailfish release, Chris Sheats for a blue marlin release, Andreas Kuester for a white marlin release, John Buck for a white marlin release, Erika Keil for a white marlin release, Cooper Lamon for a white marlin release, Jayden Chuskoff for a blue marlin release, Congrats to Sydney Stokes for a blue marlin release, and to Brayden Wassler for a white marlin release! Amazing work! But, the gal wins big today...Congrats to Megan Stokes for a 54 lb wahoo! Nice work!

Anglers In-Shore had some nice sound striper, red drum releases, and speckled trout.

There is good availability coming up, pending this disturbance in the Atlantic. Fingers crossed it moves way out to sea so we can continue this excellent billfish action!
