FISHING REPORT 08-26-16

Aug 26, 2016

Flags were waving in the late summer breeze on the ride in and some very nice meat were coming out of the boxes today. Good numbers of mahi mahi, sea bass, and tilefish graced the docks this afternoon. Congrats to Harold Kocher, David Shields, and Matthew Shields for white marlin releases! Congrats to our anglers releasing sailfish - Kyle Adams, Richard Arbogast(2), Paul Askew, Mindy Boughn, Jim Butler, Austin DeWeese, Daniel Faaborg, Lance Honeycutt, Matthew Heston(2), and Harold Kocher! Nice job!

Near-Shore was abuzz with excitement as Erick Perry brought in a trophy citation spanish mackerel tipping the scale at 7 pounds 1 oz! Ought to be good eatin' tonight! Congrats! Other anglers pulled in good numbers of spanish, bluefish, and albacore.

In-Shore anglers were hauling in some great speckled trout on both morning and afternoon trips. There were also catches of albacore and cobia.

The Miss Oregon Inlet Headboat enjoyed good fishing on both morning and afternoon trips, pulling in flounder, croakers, trout, sea bass, puffers, sea mullet, puffers, pigs, and pins.

We have excellent choices available for just about any trip! It's a great time to get your day on the water! Give us a call 1-800-272-5199 and let us get you booked!
