FISHING REPORT 08-19-17

Aug 21, 2017

Fresh off of the fast-paced billfish tournament circuit over the last week, we had quite a few captains putting anglers on the fish today! Anglers were pulling in some billfish to earn some trophy citations as well as some nice meat fish today. Congrats to the anglers releasing billfish today: Asen Dinen - white marlin; Richard Fields - white marlin; Patrick Horsley - white marlin; Vasile Calin - blue marlin; Sean DeFeo - blue marlin; Anthony Kincaid - sailfish. Anglers also pulled in some good numbers of mahi, black-fin, yellow-fin, and wahoo!

Anglers in the Near-Shore enjoyed good triggerfish, king macs, spanish macs, and a few bluefish today. There were also some catches of cobia and other varieties today.

Anglers in the In-Shore continue to enjoy good speckled trout, drum, and more! Catches are being brought in on fly and light tackle.

There are trips available this week across the fleet and on the headboat. Give us a call and let us get you booked 1-800-272-5199 or visit our homepage to book online. If you would like to be included in a Make-Up Charter, as available, log onto our homepage and click on "Book a Make-Up Charter" or visit us in person here at the Fishing Center.

You know you want to go!!
