FISHING REPORT 08-17-17

Aug 18, 2017

Too bad these anglers were fishing in the Off- Shore Billfish tournament!! Congrats to Ian McClarthy for pulling in a GRAND SLAM today!! Awesome work! Congrats to Ethan Ballard for a white marlin release and a sailfish release (narrowly missed his own GRAND SLAM), to Kenneth Burgert for a sailfish release, to Elizabeth Fifield for a sailfish release, to Christopher Fisher for a sailfish release, to William Garinder for a white marlin release, to Jonathan Hartman for a sailfish release, to Mike Munyikwa for a sailfish release, and to James Rapczynski for a sailfish release! Nice work!

In-Shore anglers pulled in some nice trophy citation fish, as well today! Congrats to Jamie McClellan for a 44" red drum release and to Christopher Black for a 44" red drum release! Both were on light tackle! Amazing work!

Near-Shore anglers enjoyed good spanish macs, bluefish, and triggerfish again today. Action was good and the reels stayed pretty busy on both trips out today.

Anglers aboard the Miss Oregon Inlet continue to have some great flounder fishing again today! Some nice keepers coming across the rails! Anglers also pulled in some grey trout, sea mullet, croaker, spot, pinfish, and puffers.

There is some good availability through the rest of the month and you should really schedule your day out with our captains! Give us a call 1-800-272-5199 and we'll get you booked!
