FISHING REPORT 08-16-17

Aug 18, 2017

Check out the In-Shore boats on all-day trips today!! Angler Derek Allen pulled in a trophy citation tilefish weighing in at 14 lbs! Nice job! White marlin any length counts and congrats to Jeff Allen for his white marlin release!! There were also some red drum releases not quite long enough for the trophy citation, but definitely some exciting reel action just the same! Anglers also enjoyed catches of speckled trout on fly rod and spinning rod, again today!

Anglers Near-Shore also had some red drum releases, as well as good spanish macs, bluefish, and triggerfish. There are also a few albacore and a few tilefish being brought in.

Anglers Off-Shore are enjoying catches of mahi, black-fin, yellow-fin, and a few wahoo, with some billfish thrown in for good measure. Congrats to Thomas Nemel for his sailfish release and to Cindy Walsh for her sailfish release! Nice work!

Anglers on the Miss Oregon Inlet, aka "The Flounder Pounder" are enjoying some excellent flounder fishing and bringing some nice keepers back to the docks! Anglers were also pulling in sea mullet, pins, pigs, spot, croaker, lizardfish, and sea robin today.

WE ARE SUPER PROUD OF OUR BOYS IN THE PIRATE'S COVE TOURNEY - CONGRATS TO THE PELICAN FOR TAKING THE DAILY TODAY! POINT RUNNER IS HOLDING ONTO 1st PLACE OVERALL!! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!
