FISHING REPORT 08-15-17

Let's talk about some trophy citations!! We have got a nice number of them today, across the fleet! Congrats to a special youngster, Miss Clarissa Allen on her catch and release of a 48" red drum that was almost bigger than she is!! Nice work young lady!! Congrats to Derek Allen for his 48" red drum release! Amazing!! Congrats to Jeffery Allen for releasing 2 red drum, measuring in at 48" and another measuring in at 58"! Nice! Congrats to Abigail Baird for her 48" red drum release! Fantastic! Congrats to Brad Butash for his 12 lb tilefish, to Courtney Butast for her sailfish release, to Ana Chrnelich for her sailfish release, to Trey Claar for his white marlin release, to Roman Weyant for his white marlin release, and to Joseph Soto for his white marlin release! Great work!!

Anglers off-shore also brought in good numbers of mahi, black fin, a few yellow-fin, and some tilefish.

Anglers Near-shore had excellent spanish mackerel fishing, and good bluefish action today along with those red drum releases!

Anglers In-Shore enjoyed great speckled trout landed on fly and spinning rods, some cobia, and some triggers.

Anglers aboard the Miss Oregon Inlet are enjoyed some great flounder catches with some good keepers again today! There were also some nice size sea mullet, croaker, spot, pigs, and pins coming off the boat today!
