FISHING REPORT 08-14-17

Aug 17, 2017

No Monday blues happenin' here!! Anglers aboard the Miss Oregon Inlet have been catching good numbers of flounder with some nice size keepers! Sea mullet, pufferfish, and pinfish were also coming over the rails today! There are tickets available on all trips this week. Give us a call 1-800-272-5199 to book your tickets!

Anglers fishing on our In-Shore boats also had some nice catches of speckled trout. These captains are finding some good meaty fish and anglers are enjoying some great meals! There are still a few openings this week on these boats and we'd love to get you out on the water with any one of these great captains!

Anglers fishing Near-Shore are pulling in some good numbers of triggerfish, spanish macs, and some bluefish, producing lots of good fish fry material! You're in luck!! We've got a few trips open this week with these captains!

Off-Shore anglers are enjoying some good reel time, as well! Today, we saw good numbers of mahi, some gaffers, and black-fin coming out of the fishboxes! There were a couple of boats with near limits of yellow-fin! The billfish action is gettin' good!! Congrats to Austin Ashberry for a pair of white marlin releases, Joseph Diffee for a sailfish release, to Bryce Madlock for a pair of white marlin releases, and to Robert Spratley for a blue marlin release! Robert's boat narrowly missed a grand slam, but had an amazing day of fishing!

You can get in on the action by calling 1-800- 272-5199 to book your great adventure! Don't have a full group? We are putting together Make-Up Charters, as available! Requests may be submitted here in person at the Fishing Center or on our homepage by clicking on "Book a Make- Up Charter"!
