FISHING REPORT 08-13-14

Aug 13, 2014

We had 23 boats from our Offshore fleet out fishing in the gulf today! They caught and released several citation White & Blue Marlin. They also released a Sailfish. They brought to the docks between all the boats over 240 Dolphins! With two of our boats catching a limit of 60. So id say todays Dolphin fishing was a huge success. We also had some gaffer dolphins, wahoo, blue&yellow fin tuna, and some black fin tuna.

Our Near Shore Fleet returned to the docks with Spanish Mackerel, Black fin sharks, blues & cobia. The fishing on the near shore fleet was pretty exciting as well.

Our Inshore Fleet brought to the docks lots of puppy drum, speckled trout, and even some cobia. Even inshore they had a great day.

Our head boat "Miss Oregon Inlet" reported catches of croakers, pig fish, pin fish, blue fish, flounder and trout.

The fishing was great today in the sound and the ocean, if you want to go fishing with us we book inshore half and full day charters, near shore half and full day charters, and all day off shore charters. You may reach us by calling 252-441- 3601 or 1-800-272-5199 Via Internet @ Oregon-inlet.com

Our head boat the "Miss Oregon Inlet" sails twice a day 7-11:30 am and 12 pm- 4:30 pm.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. ~Doug Larson

We here at Oregon-Inlet would also like to wish the offshore boats from our fleet, participating in the Pirates Cove Bill fishing tournament this week lots of luck! Go get'em FELLOWS !
