FISHING REPORT 08-12-14
The wind today kept most of the boats at the docks all day. We did have a few boats venture out into the choppy waters to try their luck. They came back to the docks and reported catching a White Marlin, some yellow fin tuna and small dolphin.
Our nearshore boats caught some blues, sea mullet, and flounder.
Our inshore fleet caught drum, speckled trout, gray trout, and blue fish.
The fishing was pretty slow today but we are hoping for better days to come. The weather is supposed to be great the rest of the week.
Oregon-Inlet fishing center offers inshore half day & full day charters, near shore half & full day charters & offshore full day charters.
