FISHING REPORT 08-10-17

Aug 10, 2017

Pulling out the good ones today!! Anglers finally found some mahi and a couple of boats limited out today, not alot of gaffers, but still a great day! Anglers also pulled in some good-size big-eye today, including a nice haul of 138 lbs by Chris Pavacic! Pretty work! It looks as though the billfish action is picking up, with a few trophy citations being earned today for sails and whites. Congrats to those releasing whites: Jared Aller, Nathan Johnson, Jim Knippel, Tommy Price, and Mason Stiff. Congrats to Julian Reitzel for a sailfish release today! Awesome work!

Anglers in the Near-Shore saw good bluefish and spanish mackerel action today, with some good numbers being brought in on both trips out. There were also some red drum releases.

Anglers in the In-Shore are still enjoying great catches of speckled trout and some flounder, as well as sea mullet and striped bass.

The Miss Oregon Inlet Headboat had some great flounder action today with lots of keepers on both trips. Anglers also pulled in sea mullet, pinfish, pigfish, spot, and croaker, as well.

Come on down! The weather's good, the water's fine, and there's always some good fishing going on!

Give us a call and get your trip booked today 1-800-272-5199!
