FISHING REPORT 07-29-16

Jul 29, 2016

Fantastic Friday across the fleet!! We had lots of happy anglers today, but the happiest was definitely 11 year old Sander Tedder, who fought and released his very first sailfish! Sander also locked into battle with some hefty yellow-fins and landed those as well! Congrats young man!! Anglers on other off-shore charters pulled in some chunkers, with most weighing in over 45 lbs. Spectators were treated to limits of mahi mahi as well this afternoon.

In-Shore and Near-Shore boats had a bit of slow fishing today, but still brought in some nice tablefare for supper! Near-Shore anglers had spanish and bluefish with some albacore mixed in.

In-Shore anglers had some good speckled trout fishing both morning and afternoon trips. Anglers also pulled in red drum on both trips, with some releases. Congrats to Chad Mnich for his 42" red drum release. Super work!

Miss Oregon Inlet Headboat anglers had great trips this morning and this afternoon. Congrats to George Metz for his trophy citation sea mullet weighing in at 1.80 lbs. Other catches today included flounder, puffers, trout, croakers, pigs, pins, and spot.

Give us a call 1-800-272-5199 and let us take you fishing! No better time than now to take a trip!
