FISHING REPORT 07-23-15
It was a beautiful day here at the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center with more than one boat returning sporting those beautiful blue and white flags!!
OFFSHORE: Our anglers continue to bring in dolphin with a couple boats near limits, and some wahoo. But, the big story today was 1 boat that had an awesome quadruple hook-up of blue marlin - now THAT was FUN!! There were also white marlin releases today.
NEARSHORE: Morning and afternoon anglers caught good numbers of bluefish and Spanish macs, some triggerfish, and shark.
INSHORE: Anglers were catching blues, shark, and some citation red drum releases.
HEADBOAT MISS OREGON INLET: Big Shout Out to morning angler Eunice Aliff for her citation Sea Mullet!! Morning and afternoon anglers caught more than 10 different species of fish again today including keeper flounder, croaker, spot, mullet, few bluefish, pinfish, pigfish, puffers, grey trout, sea robin, and sea bass.
