FISHING-REPORT-07-23-12

Offshore action resulted in a variety of catches. A lot depended on the objective. Billfish trips caught and released blue marlin, white marlin and sailfish. Some tuna trips caught yellowfins, others blackfins and some returned with both yellowfins and blackfins. Along with tuna were some dolphin and wahoos. Inshore boats caught tailor bluefish and spanish mackerel. In the afternoon one boat caught grey trout, croakers and bluefish. two open boats fished. A morning trip had good speckled trout fishing the other on an all day trip has not checked in yet. Miss Oregon Inlet caught lots of croakers and blowfish in the morning, In the afternoon they caught croakers, blowfish, pigfish, sea robins and and tailor bluefish.
