FISHING REPORT 07-19-17

Jul 19, 2017

My goodness, it was almost another GRAND SLAM day again today!! Congrats to some busy anglers who earned some trophy citations today! Casper Pierdomenico - sailfish release, William Pierdomenico- sailfish release and white marlin release, and David Baca - sailfish release! Just needed that blue, fellas!! Nice work! Congrats to Gave Davis for a sailfish release and to Skyler Bradley for a sailfish release! Fantastic! Congrats to Angenette Kimble and Chase Fomich for blue marlin releases! Awesome! Congrats to Vaughn Greene, who earned a trophy citation for a 76 lb yellow-fin tuna! It was a bit slow fishing today, but anglers put some meat in the boxes, pulling in a few black-fin tuna, a few big-eye tuna, and some mahi.

Anglers on all-day near-shore trips had some great catches today, pulling in some king macs, tilefish, triggerfish, and good numbers of spanish. There were also some nice amberjack and albacore catches as well. Anglers on half- day trips had good spanish macs and triggerfish.

In-Shore anglers put some speckled trout in the boxes today along with spanish and flounder. Some catches of sound striper and there were a few red drum releases as well.

Anglers on the Miss Oregon Inlet Headboat had busy trips, both morning and afternoon today. There were some flounder, sea mullet, gray trout, spot, croaker, pigs, and pins coming over the rails and into the coolers. Ought to be some good fish fry's happening tonight!

Give us a call and let us get you booked 1-800- 272-5199! There are still trips available and it's always a good day to go fishin' with any of our captains! Are you ready to go?
