FISHING REPORT 07-19-16

Jul 19, 2016

Stormy start for some, but turned up some great fishing all across the waters today.

OFFSHORE: Anglers brought in good numbers of the prized yellow-fin and they were some real beauties!! There were some very nice mahi brought as well, some gaffers. Congrates to Shane Wines for his sailfish release today!! Nice job!

NEARSHORE: The captains can catch the moon for you, moonfish, that is. Morning and afternoon anglers brought in good numbers of moonfish and enjoyed some great Spanish mackerel action today.

Most In-Shore open boats rescheduled but a couple ventured out and had some great action, pulling in some hammerheads and ribbonfish as well as cobia and red drums, which were released.

HEADBOAT MISS OREGON INLET: Reservations are still strongly recommended as we continue to sail many days at full capacity! After a late start due to the downpour, morning anglers had catches of flounder, sea mullet, sea robin, grey trout, sea bass, puffers, croakers, pinfish, and pigfish. Afternoon anglers enjoyed good action as well and brought in the same good variety.
