FISHING REPORT 07-17-17

Jul 19, 2017

GRAND SLAM!! Congrats to Tim Hoerning for a blue marlin release, Porter Williams for a white marlin release, and Richard Gambler and Robert Williams for rounding out the slam with their sailfish releases! Porter Williams had a good start toward a 2nd slam with his sailfish release! Super work! You never know what might be lurking around when you're looking for tuna and such. Congrats to Louis Petzing on earning a trophy citation for an 11.02 lb tilefish and to Andrew Uhrik for his 10.04 lb tilefish and an 80 lb yellow-fin tuna! Congrats to William Delfera for his 10.02 lb tilefish, and to James Somers for his 10.04 lb tilefish. Congrats to Jessica Delaney and Mark Prohoniak for sailfish releases! Other anglers pulled in nice yellow- fin, black-fin, wahoo, and a few mahi today.

Anglers near shore were earning trophy citations as well. Congrats to Michael Storie for his 33.1" cobia released. There were also some red drum releases again today, with several over 48" length. Anglers also enjoyed excellent spanish mac and king mac catches today.

Anglers In-Shore saw excellent speckled trout fishing today, with some very nice catches coming out the boxes. There were also catches of flounder, sea mullet, red drum, and sound striper as well.
