FISHING REPORT 07-12-16

Jul 12, 2016

As my folks in the mountains might say, "Fishin' was a 'mite' slow." But, when you have the sun, coastal breezes, and you're on a boat on a work- day, it's all good! With 17 boats fishing Off- Shore today, anglers pulled in mahi mahi, yellow- fin, black-fin, and wahoo. Congrats to Jason Whited for his White Marlin release, Larry Whited for his White Marlin release, and Heidi Williams for her Sailfish release.

With all boats fishing this morning and most fishing this afternoon, Near-Shore anglers enjoyed some great Spanish macs, bluefish, albacore, and amberjack catches today. It was great to see some itty-bitty future anglers on the docks today checking out the catches coming in.

With all boats fishing this morning and most fishing this afternoon, In-Shore anglers enjoyed some great catches, as well, pulling in some flounder, striper, and nice Spanish macs.

The Miss Oregon Inlet Headboat enjoyed great action today on both morning and afternoon trips. The morning trip included a showing of 16 different species donning the hooks, including nice bluefish, flounder, sea mullet, croaker, trout, and Spanish macs just to name a few! The afternoon anglers enjoyed a repeat of the morning action, with good numbers of meaty fish to enjoy tonight!!

You're here, there's good availability, just go ahead and book a trip! It'll be good for you to soak up some vitamin D on the sea!! Not too much, now, bring the sunscreen and let us take you fishing!! Give us a call 1-800-272-5199.
