FISHING REPORT 07-05-17

Jul 5, 2017

Such an amazing day of fishing! Anglers in the off-shore had some great variety today! Limits of mahi and yellow-fin were coming out of the fishboxes and onto the docks on this gorgeous afternoon! Some very happy anglers going out on Make-Up Charters today! Anglers also released some billfish and earned themselves a trophy citation. Congrats to Caleb Barker for his blue marlin release and the Melissa Richards for her blue marlin release. Congrats!

Anglers near-shore had excellent spanish macs and king macs today on both trips! Some boats had near limits of some nice, meaty fish! Ought to be good eatin' tonight!

Anglers in-shore had some very nice speckled trout caught on light tackle and fly. There were also catches of drum and some catch and release of drum. Congrats to Charles Conner for 2 red drum releases 48", Thomas Dorsey red drum release 48", and to Alexander Vaughan red drum release 48". Congrats to all!

Anglers on the Miss Oregon Inlet Headboat had some good fishing, as well. Some nice fish coming over the rails, grey trout, croaker, sea mullet, puffers, pinfish, and pigfish. Tickets are available for Friday trips and Saturday morning. Give us a call and let us get you booked 1-800-272-5199 or visit online www.missoregoninlet.com.
